In the Spirit of Autumn – The First Sarbojonin Durga Puja of Aerospace Park

প্রায় পঁয়তাল্লিশ দিন আগে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছিল—আমরা নিজেরাই আমাদের দুর্গাপূজা করব, একেবারে বাঙালিয়ানায় ভরপুরভাবে।
Almost forty-five days ago, it was decided — we would celebrate our own Durga Puja, in a way that truly reflects the Bengali spirit.

এই পূজো হবে আমাদের নিজের, আমাদের মতো, আমাদের সবার জন্য।
This Puja would be our own — by us, for everyone, and of everyone.

অ্যারোস্পেস পার্ক নামে প্রায় তিন হাজার একর জুড়ে বিস্তৃত এক অভিন্ন পরিসরে, যেখানে বহু মানুষ একত্রে মিলিত হয়েছেন, সেখানেই স্থির হয়েছিল পূজার স্থান – মার্ক্সমান রিসোর্ট -এর ড কিউব স্পোর্টস ক্লাব, বাগালুর।
In the vast expanse of 3,000 acres known as Aerospace Park, where people from all walks of life unite, the location for the Puja was chosen – Marksman Resort, D Cube Sports Club at Bagalur.

তোমারে সেলাম মঞ্চে তোমার দৌড়ে আসা, জানিয়ে দেয় তোমার সক্ষমতা। দর্শকের মন জয় করে, তুমি আছ সবার উপরে। সবার সাথে কথোপকথন, হয় সবার মনোরঞ্জন। বয়সের ভারে নও জর্জরিত, বেশভূষা বেশ মার্জিত। রসিকতা উপভোগ করে আট থেকে আশি, সবাই করতালি দিয়ে প্রকাশ করে তাদের মনের খুশি। যখন প্রশংসার বন্যা তোমার দিকে বহে, তোমার মুখে তখন অন্য ভাষা কহে। মস্তিষ্কের গঠন এখনও খাঁটি, বাচনভঙ্গীতে জানান দেয় সেটি। তুমি ছাড়া এই মঞ্চ রবে শুনশান, অন্য কেউ পৃরণ করতে পারবেনা সেই স্থান। শ্রদ্ধা জানাই। ।

শুরুতে অল্প কয়েকজন সদস্য মিলে এই স্বপ্নকে বাস্তব করার দায় নেন।
In the beginning, only a handful of members took on the responsibility of turning this dream into reality.

কিন্তু তাঁদের দৃঢ় সংকল্প ছিল অটুট—যেভাবেই হোক, এই পূজো আমাদের করতেই হবে।
But their determination was unshakable — no matter what, this Puja must happen.

স্বচ্ছ সমাজ পৃথিবীকে করতে হবে দূষণ মুক্ত, সমাজকে করতে চাই দূর্নীতি মুক্ত। ভেদাভেদ ভুলে দাঁড়াতে হবে একে অপরের পাশে , মনের শান্তি আসবেই ঠিক অবশেষে। ধর্ম অধর্মের ঠিকাদারিতে সবকিছু এলোমেলো, রক্তের রঙ দেখিয়ে দেবে সঠিক পথের আলো। মানুষ যদি রুখে দাঁড়ায় দলবদ্ধ হয়ে, এমন কোনও শক্তি নেই পারবে দিতে পিছিয়ে। সময়ের অবকাশ নেই আমাদের হাতে, সমাধানের পথ খুঁজে নিতে হবে একসাথে।

তারপর শুরু হয় পরিকল্পনা — কত খরচ হবে, কোনও স্পনসর কি পাওয়া যাবে?
Then began the planning — what would be the budget, would there be any sponsors?

এইসব প্রশ্নের কোনও নিশ্চিত উত্তর তখনও ছিল না, কিন্তু বিশ্বাস ছিল—মা দুর্গা পথ দেখাবেনই।
There were no clear answers yet, but there was faith — Maa Durga would show the way.

Now is the moment to move beyond the softness of Lakshmi and manifest the ferocity of Durga. Abandon doubt and embody Shakti (Divine Power). We must bravely confront all oppression. The essence of Maa Durga resides in every woman; we just need to awaken that latent power. On this Durga Puja, find the warrior within and meet life’s challenges with fearless resolve. ~ Satabdi Das

এদিকে সদস্যরা শুরু করে দেন প্রস্তুতি — পূজোর জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় সমস্ত সামগ্রী সংগ্রহ, কেনাকাটা, আরম্ভ থেকে পরিশেষ পর্যন্ত এক অদম্য উৎসাহে।
Meanwhile, members began preparations — collecting materials, organizing everything, driven by unstoppable enthusiasm.

পরিকল্পনা হয় সংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান, ভোগ, পূজার আচার, পুরোহিতমশাই থেকে ধাকির ব্যবস্থাও।
Plans were laid for cultural programs, Bhog, rituals, arrangements for the priest and the traditional drummers.

‌‌ * মন কথারা* ‌ জীবনের হাজারো ব্যস্ততার মাঝে … মনে হয় কিছু যেন হারিয়ে গেছে … জীবন থেকে । সেটাই খুঁজে বেড়াই কখনো মন বলে চলো যাই নীল পাহাড়ের কোলে সবুজের জঙ্গলে ‌ অনেক দূরে …. হয়তো সেখানেই দেখা হবে নিজের সাথে ‌ ‌ মিলবো আমার সাথে এক নূতন শুরু নিয়ে ..

একই সঙ্গে ভাবনা চলছিল—আরও কীভাবে নতুন সদস্যদের যুক্ত করা যায়, যাতে পূজো আরও বৃহৎ হয়।
At the same time, ideas flowed on how to bring in more members to make the celebration grander.

এই সময়েই কয়েকজন উদার সদস্য তাঁদের সামর্থ্যের বাইরে গিয়ে দান করেন উল্লেখযোগ্য অর্থ, যা আমাদের নতুন আশার আলো দেয়।
During this time, a few generous members went beyond their limits and donated significantly, giving us new hope.

আমরা গিয়েছিলাম আমাদের প্রতিমা তৈরির স্থান দেখতে—যেখানে মা দুর্গার রূপ ধীরে ধীরে উন্মোচিত হচ্ছিল শিল্পীর তুলি ও করাঘাতে।
We visited the site where our Durga idol was being sculpted — where Maa Durga’s form was slowly taking shape under the artist’s skilled hands.

শিল্পীদের হাতে রঙ তুলিতে গড়ে উঠল স্নিগ্ধ, মাটির গন্ধমাখা মধুর মুখশ্রী মা দুর্গা।
In the artists’ hands, with color and devotion, emerged the gentle, clay-scented face of Mother Durga.

মহালয়ার দিন উপস্থিত হলো—সেদিন সকলে মিলে পূজাস্থলে মিলিত হয়ে, আনন্দঘন ব্রাঞ্চে অংশ নিয়ে, এক অঙ্গীকার করলাম—যা-ই হোক, এই পূজো আমরা করবই।
Then came Mahalaya — we gathered at the Puja venue, shared a joyful brunch, and took an oath — no matter what, we will make this Puja happen.

কবিতা: একালের জামাই ষষ্টি। কলমে: নূপুর মণ্ডল। একালের জামাই ষষ্টি। সকাল থেকেই কর্তা গিন্নির মুখ ভারী- জামাই ষষ্ঠী তে মেয়ে জামাই আসছেনা বাড়ি। ঘরে ঘরে খুশির রব বাজে শংখধ্বনি- গিন্নি নিরবে আঁচলে মোছে দুচোখ খানি। গর্ব করে বলে মেয়ে জামাই দিয়েছে বিদেশে পারি- আসবেনা জামাই তাই এবার শ্বশুরবাড়ি। কর্তা বলে শুভদিনে চোখের জল ফেলনা গিন্নি আমার- আমাকে দিয়েই নাহয় সার জামাই ষষ্ঠীটা এবার। আজ হোকনা থালায় পঞ্চ ব্যাঞ্জনের বাহার- কচি পাঁঠার স্বাদ পেতে মন চাইছে আর একবার। শুনে তো গিন্নি ওঠে তেড়ে ফুড়ে এক্কেবারে- বুঝি এই মারে কি সেই মারে। বলে আশি বছরেও ধন্যি নোলা তোমার! নাই দুই পাটি দাঁত তবু খেতে সখ কচি পাঁঠার! নিয়ে কাপড়ে চোপড়ে হয়ে করবে বিছানা সার- তোমার জন্যে আমার জীবনটাই ছাড়খার। এই গরমে কিছু হলে কে আছে দেখার? মনের দুঃখেও কি একটা দিন ছুটি নেই আমার! অন্যায় হয়েছে বুঝে কর্তা নিশ্চুপ নির্বাক- সপ্তম সুরে ভাঙ্গা রেকর্ডে চলে গিন্নির বকবক। যথা সময়ে জামাই ষষ্ঠীর পালা মোবাইলে সারা হলো- এবার গিন্নি সুরে একটু বদল এলো। বলে তাহলে করছি শুক্তো, পোস্ত আর তেল কই- সংগে থাকবে আমের টক আর ঘরে পাতা দই। শুনে কর্তার মুখে মৃদু মন্দ মুচকি হাসি- বলে আজ একটি বার পড়ো বিয়ের সেই বেনারসী। গিন্নির ঠোঁটের কোণে এবার একটু হাসি মন খুশি- বলে-তুমিও পড়ো সেই পাঞ্জাবি খানা হোকনা বয়স আশি। কর্তা বলে তুমি ছাড়া কার কাছে মনের কথা কই-? গিন্ন বলে তাইতো মনের যতো ঝাল তোমাতেই মিটাই। থালা সাজিয়ে দুজনে মুখোমুখি বসি- একে অপরকে খাওয়ায় সুখে মুখে পরম পাওয়ার হাসি। সংসার দোলাচলে এরই নাম জীবন- সকল চাওয়া পাওয়ার উর্দ্ধে মনের বন্ধনে বাঁচার ইন্ধন। বয়সের সংখ্যা নাহয় বাড়ছে বাড়ুক- মনের বন্ধনে জামাইষষ্টি আশিতেও এমনিই চলুক। (সংরক্ষিত) নূপুর মণ্ডল। 13/6/2024

শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রস্তুতি, দিন-রাত এক করা, ঘুমহীন রাত—সব মিলিয়ে এক অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রমের পর অবশেষে আমাদের পূজো মঞ্চে এল।
Last-minute preparations, sleepless nights, endless efforts — and finally, our Puja took shape.

পূজোর এক সপ্তাহ আগে শুরু হয়েছিল সাজসজ্জার কাজ।
A week before the Puja, the decoration work began.

আমাদের ডিজাইন দল, যা কিছু হাতে ছিল, তা দিয়েই এক অসাধারণ, ঐতিহ্যবাহী, বাঙালি ঢঙে এক মনোমুগ্ধকর প্যান্ডেল গড়ে তোলে।
Our design team, using whatever was available, created a magnificent, traditional, Bengali-style pandal.

মণ্ডপে ছড়িয়ে পড়ল সাদা লালের মিলনে শারদীয় সাজ, আলপনায় ভরে উঠল মেঝে, ঢাকের তালে কেঁপে উঠল হৃদয়।
The pandal bloomed with white and red hues of Sharod festivity, the floors filled with alpona, and hearts trembled with the rhythm of the dhaak.

”আমাদের সাজসজ্জা, আমাদের আয়োজন, আর আমাদের একতা দেখে সবাই প্রশংসায় ভরিয়ে দিয়েছেন।
Everyone praised our decorations, our organization, and above all, our unity.

মহাষষ্ঠীর দিনে আমরা আয়োজন করেছিলাম এক বাঙালি রক ব্যান্ডের পরিবেশনা, যা সবাইকে উল্লসিত করে তোলে।
On Maha Shashti, we hosted a Bengali rock band performance that electrified everyone.

ডিজিটাল যাত্রা শুরু হয়েছিল প্রায় ৪৫ দিন আগেই — ফেসবুক, ইনস্টাগ্রাম, এবং আমাদের নিজস্ব ওয়েবসাইটের মাধ্যমে।
Our digital journey has started about 45 days earlier — through Facebook, Instagram, and our own website.

এই ডিজিটাল প্রচারের মাধ্যমে আমরা পৌঁছে গেছি প্রায় ৫.৬ মিলিয়ন মানুষের কাছে—ভিডিও, ছবি ও অনুষ্ঠান মারফত।
Through our digital outreach, we reached nearly 5.6 million people — through videos, photos, and events.

পূজোর প্রতিটি দিন ছিল এক একটি স্মরণীয় অধ্যায়—সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান, ভোগ, পূজা—সবকিছুতেই ছিল অপার আনন্দ।
Each day of the Puja became a memorable chapter — cultural performances, Bhog, rituals — all filled with joy.

Pujo Diary In pages worn with time and grace, A world of Pujo finds its place. Saffron mornings, dhak’s deep beat, Footprints echo on every street. A scribbled note — “Shashti begins, ”With dreams wrapped up in silken spins. Alpona drawn in midnight hush, The ink still smells of autumn’s blush. First glance, first saree, first sweet smile, Moments that linger, mile by mile. A prayer, a promise, a silent tear, All tucked in lines from year after year. Bijoya’s sigh, a soft goodbye, “Next year again,” the pages cry. This diary holds what time can’t steal —The soul of Pujo, a beautiful deal. — Preoshi

সদস্য ও তাঁদের শিশুরা ভোর থেকে রাত পর্যন্ত পরিশ্রম করে, একে অপরকে সাহায্য করে, এক পরিবারের মতো উৎসবকে সাফল্যে পরিণত করেছে।
Members and their children worked tirelessly from dawn to midnight, helping one another like a family, turning the celebration into a triumph.

মহাষ্টমীর পুষ্পাঞ্জলিতে উপচে পড়েছিল দর্শনার্থীদের ভিড়—শুধু সদস্য নয়, পার্শ্ববর্তী এলাকার অসংখ্য ভক্ত উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
On Maha Ashtami, the Pushpanjali saw a huge gathering — not only members, but devotees from all around joined.

সেদিন ভোগ পরিবেশন করা হয়েছিল সবার জন্য, সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে।
That day, Bhog was served to everyone, completely free.

পরদিন নবমীতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ডান্ডিয়া নাইট—এক আনন্দমুখর, উচ্ছল সন্ধ্যা।
On Navami, we hosted a Dandiya Night — a vibrant, joyous evening.

শেষ দিনে, দর্শনীর বেদনাময় মুহূর্তে, আমরা মা দুর্গাকে বিদায় জানালাম চোখের জলে ও হৃদয়ের ভালোবাসায়।
On the final day, during the emotional Darshani, we bid farewell to Maa Durga with tears and love in our hearts.

এইভাবেই সম্পূর্ণ হলো বেঙ্গলি এসোসিয়েশন অ্যারোস্পেস পার্ক এর প্রথম দুর্গোৎসব—এক ইতিহাসের সূচনা।
Thus concluded the first Durga Puja of Bengali Association Aerospace Park — the dawn of a new legacy.

এবারের পূজা বার্ষিকী ২০২৫—যেখানে সংযুক্ত হলেন পার্শ্ববর্তী অ্যাপার্টমেন্টগুলির অসংখ্য সদস্য, যাঁদের তালিকা নিচে সংযোজন করা হবে।
This year’s Puja Barshiki 2025 saw participation from members across neighboring apartments, whose list will be added below.

তাঁদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণেই আমাদের এই পূজা সফলতার শিখরে পৌঁছেছে।
It was through their active participation that our Puja reached such glorious heights.

|| শুভ বিজয়া || | উমা চলে যাবে সেই কৈলাসে ? আরো সেই একটি বছর পরে কবে যে আসবে ফিরে এই পিত্রালয়ে, সে আশায় থাকতে হবে বসে | | রাতের আকাশে দেখবো এবার মলিন শরৎ শশী, শোনা যাবে শুধু করুণ সুরে বিসর্জনের বাঁশী | | না গেলেও আর চলে না যে হোক না পরের ঘর, শিবের শিবানী উমা ভবের ভবানী উমার বিহনে শিব ” মণিহারা ফণী”| | আকাশে বাতাসে যতো কুসুম সুবাসে আনন্দে ভরেছে ধরা এই তিন দিনে, একটু সুখের স্মৃতি তোমার ঐ হাসি দিয়ে এঁকে দিয়ে গেলে দেবী চিরস্থায়ী করে দুঃখে শোকে হতাশায় দগ্ধ এই মনে | | তুমি জয়া,সর্বজয়া,তুমিই বিজয়া, আশীর্বাদ দিয়ে যাও দেবী সর্বজনে সুচেতনা,মানবতা,সু-বিবেচনা জাগ্রত হয় যেন সবারই মনে | | উৎসবের শেষে এই প্রার্থনা জানালাম, বিদায় মুহূর্তে নিও বিজয়া-প্রণাম ||

আমরা আশা রাখি, আগামী বছর আরও বহু মানুষ আমাদের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হবেন, একসাথে আরও মহিমান্বিত দুর্গোৎসব গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে।
We look forward to welcoming many more next year, as we aim to make our celebration even more magnificent together.

শেষকথা | Epilogue

এই পূজা কেবল এক উৎসব নয়—এ এক প্রেরণা, এক বন্ধন, এক আত্মার আহ্বান।
This Puja is not just a festival — it is an inspiration, a bond, a call of the soul.

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি—যেখানে ঐক্য আছে, সেখানেই মা দুর্গার আশীর্বাদ।
We believe — where there is unity, there lies Maa Durga’s blessing.

অ্যারোস্পেস পার্কের আকাশ জুড়ে প্রতিধ্বনিত হোক সেই আহ্বান—
Let that invocation echo across the skies of Aerospace Park—

“শব্দের সুরে, সংস্কৃতির সুধায়, হৃদয়ের ঐক্যে — বেঙ্গলি অ্যাসোসিয়েশন এয়ারোস্পেস পার্ক আজ এক অখণ্ড সত্তা; এখানে মিলেমিশে যায় ভাষা, ভুবন ও ভক্তির সীমা।”

“In the resonance of words, in the nectar of culture, in the unity of hearts — Bengali Association Aerospace Park stands today as a single living spirit, where language, worlds, and devotion merge into one.”

“বলো দুর্গা মাই কি। জয়। আসছে বছর। আবার হবে।” “Bolo Dugga Mai Ki. Joy. Aasche Bachor. Abar Hobe.”
